[Daily Observer]The minister of Fisheries and Water Resources, honourable Mass Axi Gye, has won the 2013 Edition of the Gambia National Olympic Committee's (GNOC) award for the Most Outstanding Sports Personality of the year. Minister Gye was awarded at the 15th Edition of the GNOC, Sports Banquet and Awards Ceremony held at the Djeliba Hotel in Kololi. The NOC annually holds the ceremony to award Gambians who have contributed immensely to the development of sports in the country over the years. Last year's award went to
