[Foroyaa]Reliable information received by Foroyaa revealed that on Saturday 27th October 2012 round about midnight the situation near the Central Prisons at Mile 2 appeared abnormal as soldiers at the Hamza Barracks opposite the Prison were alerted to mount check points before and after Mile II and were carefully monitoring the movement of vehicles to and from Banjul causing a traffic jam. The information revealed that at the Denton Bridge there was a heavy presence of armed soldiers.
